31 Day Challenge: Day 6

Hello! 

This is my second post tonight and I am feeling pretty good! Today is Day 6, VIOLET nails, and I chose an oldie, but goodie: China Glaze IDK:

:) I love holos! They are super pretty. Although it is storming at the moment and I probably wont be able to fully enjoy this, I still like it. This is from the OMG! collection and in my opinion it's one of the better ones. The light holos look better to me. They seem to show up more... This was two coats and topcoat. Sorry for the strange pictures but I was trying to get different angles to show more of the shimmer. See you tomorrow, (I promise this time!)

31 Day Challenge: Day 5

I know, I know, I'm a bad blogger. 

I really tried to post yesterday. But it was 10:30 again, and I was insanely tired and I hadn't even taken pictures yet so it would have been at least another hour and I just wasn't up to that. I'll try to make up for lost time and post twice tonight, but if I don't get a chance, don't get even angrier. Day 5 is BLUE nails and I chose a new polish I hadn't worn yet, Orly Stone Cold:

Not the best pictures in the world, but hey, at least I have pictures! This was SO COOL! It's a blue jelly base stuffed with little shimmer plates. As you added more coats, (I did two here) it gets deeper and more complex and the extra coats add so much depth! It's mesmerizing. I thought I would try some crackle over it, so I did my thumbs in black and white crackle. I only have a picture of the white though, because the black looked weird and you could barely see it. White was much better:  

YES! I used China Glaze Lightning Bolt. Well, that's all for this post! I have Day 6 coming for you! Yay!

31 Day Challenge: Day 4

Once again, I am a horrible person. 

It's not good of me to be posting this at 10:30 at night. I really do feel bad. For today's Day 4 it's GREEN nails and I wanted to do pastel green, because I think it makes my hands look pretty, and tan. I used China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint: 

Please try to ignore the smudge in my pointer finger. I don't know how these things happen to me... This was 2 coats, and surprisingly this went on very smoothly. It was a bit on the watery side, but other than that no complaints! See you on Day 5!

31 Day Challenge: Day 3

I am a horrible person. 

I wish I could say I have a valid reason for skipping yesterday, but I don't. I had all the time in the world, and I took a three hour power-nap. I'm sorry. I promise to do better! 

Yesterday was Day 3, YELLOW nails, and I used China Glaze Happy Go Lucky as a base, and then stamped a houndstooth design on my ring fingers and thumbs as an accent in Konad Special Black polish.

This is what I used for the stamping.

Ewh, try to ignore the ugly dent in my middle finger in the second picture. My bad. To tell the truth I really hate yellow nails. They just look weird to me. However, I really liked this combo. I think houndstooth is cool. This is 2-3 thick coats; the yellow was a little streaky. Again, I am sorry! See you tomorrow!

31 Day Challenge: Day 2

Hey everyone :)

It's the second day of the 31 Day Challenge and it's ORANGE nails day! For today I used Essie Vermillionaire and Forever 21's Love and Beauty Opal Glitter as an accent on my ring fingers and thumbs:

I really like Vermillionaire. It's very shiny, and was good in about 2-3 coats. The only thing I can say is I thought vermillion was red... See you tomorrow!

31 Day Challenge: Day 1

The Day 1 challenge is RED nails so I decided to go with something that may turn a few heads. China Glaze Raspberry Festival:

It's a two-coater, and it's very sparkly. :) I love this. I had actually been wanting to wear this for a while, and had never gotten the chance, so this is just perfect! I wish it were sunny though, so I would be able to see it at it's best before I take it off tomorrow. :) All for now!

Difficulties

Hey everyone!

I am extremely sorry about the lack of posts going on lately! My camera has been dead, and I need a new lightbox.
